8 slices of sourdough bread (medium thickness)
Egg Dip:
5 whole medium eggs
dash salt and ground black pepper
1 Tbsp (15mL) unsalted butter
maple syrup, for drizzling (optional)
chopped fresh basil, for garnish (optional)
